You may only become a member of the Society if you qualify to do so.
You complete our 5 month course – or if you are already an experienced shoe fitter our Entrance Application.
The Course: Teaches you all you need to know to offer a professional shoe fitting service and leads to our recognised qualification via general assessment. It is extremely useful for staff training and to obtain the necessary knowledge about feet, physiology, footwear, shoe construction, gauges, measurement etc.
The Entrance Application: is for already experienced shoe fitters, (over 5 years fitting quality brands) to prove they have the knowledge and experience to become an M.S.S.F.
Deluxe Course: We offer a Deluxe Course which includes:
- A Full Footwear & Fitting Course place (reduced price further full courses).
- Fitting Gauges.
- A personal Instore Training Session for you and up to 5 others (ideal if you are a completely new business or have several people who need training – extra people can be added).
Multiple’s: We offer instore/onsite training days with personal certificates for delegates. These denote the staff attending have received tuition from our Senior Tutor, (they are not a qualification). Price upon application dependent upon numbers.
